SBJ Capital, a Walnut Creek, California-based investment firm, recently announced a strategic partnership with Ally Pediatric Therapy, a Paradise Valley, Arizona-based provider of speech and autism therapies for children and young adults. This partnership focuses on supporting pediatric autism therapy expansion throughout the greater Phoenix area, increasing access to specialized care for children facing developmental challenges.

Ally Pediatric Therapy’s Role in Pediatric Autism Therapy Expansion

Founded in 2015 by Anthony Macleod and Ryan Goodrich, Ally Pediatric Therapy currently operates six locations across Phoenix. They provide vital services, including speech-language therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy—the latter recognized as a gold standard in autism treatment. Ally’s individualized, play-based approach has been central to its success, delivering effective, compassionate care tailored to each child’s needs.

The partnership with SBJ Capital is a significant step in Ally’s pediatric autism therapy expansion plan. By increasing the number of therapy locations and resources, Ally aims to serve more families and children requiring specialized support for autism and related communication disorders.

SBJ Capital’s Investment Fuels Pediatric Autism Therapy Expansion

SBJ Capital specializes in equity and debt investments in lower middle-market healthcare companies, with investments ranging from $10 million to $50 million. With approximately $300 million under management, SBJ is well-positioned to support Ally’s ambitious growth goals.

This investment directly enables Ally’s pediatric autism therapy expansion by providing the capital and strategic partnership needed to open new facilities and enhance care delivery. Anthony Macleod, Ally’s founder and CEO, emphasized the alignment of values with SBJ Capital: “We chose to partner with SBJ as we felt strongly that they share our belief in the importance of our services and therapy to the lives of children with autism and their families.”

Ryan Goodrich, Ally’s CFO, noted, “With this new partnership, we will have experienced partners who understand our mission and will support us and our incredible team in continuing to provide the best possible therapy to our children,” underscoring the critical role SBJ plays in Ally’s pediatric autism therapy expansion efforts.

Expanding Access Through New Facilities and Community Reach

Ally plans to open its seventh location in the Phoenix area next month, a clear marker of its ongoing pediatric autism care expansion strategy. The company aims to reach more communities where specialized speech and autism therapies are needed but not yet widely available.

As awareness of autism spectrum disorder and early intervention grows, the demand for evidence-based therapies like those provided by Ally increases. This partnership with SBJ Capital not only accelerates Ally’s physical expansion but also strengthens its capacity to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

The Future of Pediatric Autism Therapy Expansion

The collaboration between SBJ Capital and Ally Pediatric Therapy highlights the growing importance of investment in specialized healthcare providers focused on pediatric populations. Through this partnership, the vision of broadening access to effective autism and speech therapies is becoming a reality.

While financial details of the partnership remain confidential, the emphasis on pediatric autism care expansion underscores the potential for similar collaborations to enhance healthcare services nationwide. As Ally continues to grow with SBJ’s support, families in the Phoenix area can look forward to increased access to life-changing therapies tailored for children with autism and related conditions.
